For over 20 years, Catherine Mattice enjoyed a corporate career in marketing, public relations and writing within the tourism and health care industries. When she stepped away from the corporate world in 2001 to spend more time with her family, she inadvertently opened the door to a new life path. The journey began immediately with her first yoga class. She was hooked after the first downward dog and fell into a state of bliss with the final meditative pose of savasana. Over time, the principles and practices of yoga directed her towards the beautiful healing energies of Reiki and meditation. Today, Catherine is a certified Master Reiki Practitioner and a certified 200 hour RYT yoga instructor. In addition, she is trained to lead guided meditation, which she incorporates into the savasana portion of her yoga classes and, when guided, into a Reiki healing session. She continues with her writing – fiction, non-fiction and corporate communications. She is currently writing a book of daily meditations created for yoga practitioners to assist with savasana.
Catherine Mattice is a Director and a Member of TQS Lifestyle Association. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Journalism from Ryerson University. She lives in Toronto with her husband and their three children.
